The Gunfighter Zone is pleased to announce that we are accepting banner ads on our web site.

The Gunfighter Zone started as an attempt to bring to the web our hobbies of Cowboy Action Shooting, Fast Draw, gunfight reenacting, trick shooting, gun spinning, and anything else in a western vein. We're proud to say that over the last few years it has grown to become a well used resource for others with these interests, with currently over a thousand every day.

We have now implemented a banner display system that your company can utilize to target the audience that visits the Zone: Enthusiasts of western shooting and gunfight re-enacting.

Banners are those advertisements that you often see at the top or bottom of a web page. You'll find one at the top of this page just below The Gunfighter Zone graphic.

How does a banner ad work?

• You supply us with your web site address and a banner graphic that will be included in our banner rotation (or have us create one). This banner will appear at the top or bottom of many of the major pages in The Gunfighter Zone.
  
  
• Links to your site will appear on the main pages of The Gunfighter Zone. These links often receive many more clicks than the actual banner ad.
  
  
• You will receive a password and access to your personal banner statistics page that will allow you to instantly track how many exposures your ad and links have received and how many people have actually clicked on them to visit your site.
  
  
• At the end of the agreed upon time your banner will stop appearing in the rotation. At that time you can decide if you received benefits from having your ad appear in The Gunfighter Zone. If so, you would probably want to renew your agreement. If not, you can simply walk away and try other forms of advertising.
  
  

• GIF, GIF 89a or JPEG format
  
• Any size up to 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high.
  
• Banners should be under 10Kb
  
• Animated banners are allowed
  
• Multiple banners are allowed for diversity in your advertisement campaign. Each banner will be assigned a portion of your exposures. There will be a $10 set-up fee for each additional banner.

The Gunfighter Zone reserves the right to refuse any banner or link that we feel is not suited to our site.

Due to the nature of the web and the free will of its users, no guarantee of banner clicks, subsequent visits to your web site, or sales of your product(s) can be guaranteed.

Banner exposure rates will fluctuate depending on the visitor rate and number of ads in rotation at any given time. An estimate of your exposure rate will be provided when your ad is being set up.

Remember, along with your banner ad you will receive links on the main pages of The Gunfighter Zone.
