Here at The Gunfighter Zone we've spend thousands of hours over the last few years building and promoting a site that now plays host to over a thousand visitors every day. Most of these visitors are interested in Cowboy Action Shooting, Old West Re-enacting, Fast Draw, Western History or other western shooting and wild west entertainment activities. Having your site listed in The Zone is like moving your web store to the main street of Dodge City or Tombstone. Gunfighter Web Services and The Gunfighter Zone can help your web site get the visitors you want through the following means:

By the way, this data was gathered using our tracking software that you will be given access to if you sign up for the Major Links or Banner options. Using this software you will be able to check on-line on the statistics for your links and banner at anytime.

Trade links with our site and appear on The Gunfighter Zone links page. We must note that in consideration of our customers who sell items in certain categories (holsters and gunsmiths for example) we feel we can not trade links that are in conflict with their interests. Also, we've worked hard to make the Gunfighter Zone links list a useful resource for people who visit our site. To help keep it that way we will only accept sites that we feel are of interest to our visitors. Major Links in The Gunfighter Zone

You will receive links on the main Gunfighter Zone page, our specialized index pages as appropriate (Fast Draw, Cowboy Action Shooting and Gunfight Reenacting), the Wild West Emporium, and our main links page. Also, you will receive access to post messages in the Merchants Main Street forum in the discussions area. Your link on the main links page will remain on-line even after your package expires.

To get the ball rolling for your Major Link in The Gunfighter Zone simply send an e-mail to links-major@gunfighter.com with your name and web site address. Indicate how long you would like to sign up for. After we review the information it will simply be a matter of receiving the payment by check or money order, or you can pay immediatly by credit card via a PayPal money request which I can e-mail you (please let me know the e-mail address/account to use for the PayPal request). At that point your links will go on-line.

Banners & Major Links

You receive the same links as in the Major Links option, but will also receive the advantage of having your web site's promotional banner displayed on many of the major pages within The Gunfighter Zone. The links and banner gives you two powerful ways to promote your site.

The number of ad displays may fluctuate depending on the visitor rate and number of ads in rotation at any given time. Please request an estimate of your exposure rate when your ad is being set up.

To get started with your links and banner advertisement simply send an e-mail to links-bannerads@gunfighter.com with your name and web site address. Indicate how long you would like to sign up for. Attach your banner to that e-mail if you already have one created. If not, we can create one for you for a small additional fee.

After we review the information it will simply be a matter of receiving the payment by check or money order. At that point the ad campaign can begin.

If you're planning on taking advantage of the Banner & Major Links package, here are the banner specification that you should know about:

• GIF, GIF 89a or JPEG format
  
• Any size up to 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high.
  
• Banners should be under 10Kb
  
• Animated banners are allowed
  
• Multiple banners are allowed for diversity in your advertisement campaign. Each banner will be assigned a portion of your exposures. There will be a $10 set-up fee for each additional banner.
